WOW Wall
In our school, we recognise that many of our pupils are involved in activities outside of school that they put a lot of hard work, time and effort in to. For this reason, we created a 'WOW Wall' that celebrates the achievements of these children. In the school we have girls who take part in Irish dancing, hip hop, ballet and ballroom dancing, majorettes, artists, footballers and gymnasts to name a few. What a talented bunch of children we teach! Well Done!!

On Friday 12th October some of the 4th class girls attended the National Vision Sports Inclusion Games in Trinity College Dublin. Accompanied by Ms Feron and Pamela, Mariyam, Sophie and Marie took part in athletics, soccer and golf. A great day of sport and friendship building was had by all. The girls received medals for their participation! Well Done Girls👍🏻

On September 9th, our competition finalists were invited to 'Axis' Theatre for a morning of fun and magic before the winners were revealed. We were delighted to be joined by so many supportive family members on the day too! Our girls won prizes in their individual categories and our school was declared the 'Overall Winner'! Well done to all the girls in the Virgin Mary G.N.S that took part!

Three of our fifth class pupils celebrated World Literacy Day by helping SUAS to launch a new literacy campaign called 'ABC One in Three'. Our girls were delighted to show off their wonderful reading skills to Senator Lynn Ruane who joined us here in our library.
