8.50 Our class teacher collects us from our line in the yard and we make our way to our classroom.
10.30 Sos beag (small break) and we go out to the yard to play with our friends.
10.40 Back to class for more lessons.
12.00 We eat our lunch.
12.15 We go out to the yard to play with our friends.
12.45 Back to class, for our afternoon lessons.
13.30 Junior and Senior Infants go home.
14:20 Rainbow Room go home.
14.30 All the senior classes go home.
School Starting Time is 8.50am.
On wet days, please ensure that your daughter is not on the yard before 8.50am.
Children are under direct supervision from 8.50am every day (excluding school tours where different time schedules may be in operation).

Homework
In our school we give homework daily from Monday to Thursday inclusive.
No weekend homework will be given unless as a result of incomplete homework during the week or some other inappropriate behaviour.
Homework will be suitable to the age and ability of the pupils.
The Role of Homework:
a) To develop a habit in the pupils of working independently.
b) To help revise work already done.
c) To prepare for Second Level school where independent working is essential.
d) To develop the skill of learning by rote and to develop other learning skills and techniques.
e) To consolidate the work done during the day.
Homework should:
a) Be within the range and ability of the student
b) Have a revision content.
c) Be done in an environment without distraction.
Time:
No strict time limit can be laid down for homework. Consideration will be given to the child’s age, concentration span and ability. A minimum of 30 minutes (2nd class) and maximum one and one-quarter hours for 6th class is recommended.
All homework will be corrected consistently and within a reasonable time.
It is up to the individual teacher to decide when and why homework is not given on a particular occasion.
Parent Input:
