Christmas Breakfast

To celebrate the girls hard work the past few months we had a class breakfast!

Singing at Dublin airport

The girls had an amazing day singing at the arrivals hall of Dublin airport. Their singing was amazing and attracted a massive crowd! The girls put in huge preparation and practice for this day. A proud day for VMGNS!

Christmas Fair 2023

The girls had fun designed cookies and cupcakes for the Christmas Fair. On the day, they were able to buy lots of nice treats.

December in 5th class 

During December, the girls worked on winter projects in Geography, helped decorate the classroom for Christmas, and created some excellent winter art.

Soil Investigation

The girls were learning about soil in geography. They took a visit to the school gareden and investigated the soil. They then helped out in the green schools harvest. 

Camogie with Liam

The girls enjoyed a variety of games and discovered new skills with Liam each week. They all had great fun!

Halloween fun!

The girls had great fun on their Halloween dress up day. They played traditional Halloween games and ended the day with the Halloween disco!

Maths Magic Show at DCU

We visited DCU for a Maths Magic Show as part of National Maths Week! 

Ballymun Food Festival-Food Demo

The girls enjoyed a trip to the Axis for a food demo. They were shown how to create simple dishes using fruit and vegetables found in our homes. The girls enjoyed it!

Gymnastics

The girls enjoyed 6 weeks of gymnastics lessons. They learned so many new skills!
