Aistear in October- ' The Garden' and 'Halloween'

We had so much fun learning about what happens in the garden and dressing up and making potions for Halloween! We have also been working really hard at developing our fine motor skills, so that our hands become nice and strong for handwriting.

Ballymun Fun Run

Junior Infants had a brilliant time doing their own 'Ballymun Fun Run'. Here are a few pictures from a great day!

Our Theme for Aistear is 'Home'.

Junior Infants have been doing some fantastic work in Aistear this month!
They have have been building their own homes with paper, lollipop sticks, Play Doh, Lego and large building blocks.
They have been washing clothes and crockery during water play.
They have been engaging in role-play with our doll houses and in our kitchen corner.
They have even been measuring and pouring using different materials and containers that are found in the home.
