Mobile Phone
Due to the growing number of mobile phones being brought to school by pupils it was decided a policy needed to be developed re the use of the above.
The use of phones in particular for text messaging or social media can be very disruptive in class.
Rule:
The use of mobile phones on the school premises in school, school yard or on school trips is forbidden.
Phones should be switched off at all times. And left in school bag.
Use of phone is not allowed during school.
Children always have access to the school phone if they wish to contact parents.
Parents are always encouraged to ring the school number if they have a problem.
School does not accept any responsibility for and device lost, stolen or damaged.
Sanction:
If children are seen with a phone in class it will be confiscated and sent down to Principal.
