Fáilte go Rang a Sé !!!
Confirmation
On April 20th, the sun shone for the girls that made their Confirmation. Fr. Declan was the chief celebrant on the day. Well done to all the girls in 6th Class. They all contributed something special, whether that was by taking part in the actual Ceremony or by helping out with the Art.
Richmond Barracks

Sixth Class had a really enjoyable visit to Richmond Barracks at the beginning of April. The girls learned about how 1916 rebels were held and court martialed at the barracks. They learned about some of the women that took part in the Rising. They also got to visit Goldenbridge Cemetery and visit an old classroom.
This is a really great history trip and we would highly recommend it.

Corfheile 2018
Our School Choir took part in Corfheile, for the first time ever, in March. The Choir performed two songs: I'll stand by you by The Pretenders and a traditional Irish song called 'Bean Phaidin'. We were delighted with our feedback from the adjudicator which included comments such as 'Beautiful diction and clear words', 'a lovely sense of enjoyment of your singing' and 'a very polished choir'. Mr. McGuinness accompanied us on his bodhran.
