Mobile Phone
Due to the growing number of mobile phones being brought to school by pupils it was decided a policy needed to be developed re the use of the above.
The use of phones in particular for text messaging can be very disruptive in class.
Rule:
The use of mobile phones on the school premises in school and in school yard is forbidden.
Phones should be switched off at all times.
Text messaging is not allowed during school.
Children always have access to the school phone if they wish to contact parents.
Parents are always encouraged to ring the school number if they have a problem.
Sanction:
If children are seen with a phone in class it will be confiscated.
