Just a Norma day in Virgin Mary Girls' National School
Minister for Education Norma Foley T.D. visited the Virgin Mary Girls' School to open our new ASD class 'The Rainbow Room'.
The fifth and sixth class girls welcomed Minister Foley with a rendition of Rose of Tralee. The Minister then officially opened The Rainbow Room and met the new pupils and parents of the class. The minister continued with a visit to fourth class and a meeting with the student council to discuss the school and the council's ideas. The Minister also met with Ms. Cuthbert and members of staff. She complimented the girls on their welcome of her and she really enjoyed her visit. The minister was also presented with a drawing by a fourth class pupil and sun flowers from our school garden were presented by senior infants. |
