Book Rental

 
A book rental & 'big' school tour scheme is operated for children from Infants to 6th Class.

This years Book Rental will include the cost of the "Big Tour" as well as school books, workbooks and Art & Crafts.  Copies / notebooks for children in 3rd class and above are not included, these can be purchases in any shop or the school Siopa.

In order to assist with household budgeting we would be happy to take weekly or monthly payments towards your daughters school book/tour, tracksuit etc.

2022-2023 Book Rental Costs:    
Junior Infants, Rainbow Room and Senior Infants           €75.00 (including big tour)
1st and 2nd Class                                                                  €80.00 (including big tour)     
3rd and 4th Class                                                                   €90.00 (including big tour)      
5th Class and 6th Class                                                      €100.00 (including big tour)

Contributions to the scheme to be paid in the office.  This facilitates purchase, sorting and covering of books.            

In the case of a lost book, child will be asked to pay full price for replacement.    

Any child is free to opt out of the scheme and buy her own set of books.

Each child receives a set of books on the first day of the Autumn Term.

Books needed by the same child for the following year e.g. spelling book, atlas, dictionary and copies are to be collected in June and kept in the school for safe-keeping.  These are to be passed on with class to new teacher in September.

Maths books are not to be written on with the exception of Infants, 1st & 2nd Class.

​As you know, the girls will not be allowed to go on the ‘Big Tour’ unless all money is paid.

* Sister Discount - If you have more than two girls in the school you will be given a €10 discount for the 2nd, 3rd etc. girl.
